About Almost Ready Ally
Hi, I’m Aleona (AH-LEE-OH-NAH) — founder and creative director of Almost Ready Ally.
The name grew from a phrase I’ve said my entire life:
“I’m almost ready.”
Not perfectly styled.
Not completely finished.
Still becoming.
That in-between space is where this brand began.
The half sun in the ARA logo represents early light — the beginning of a rise. Because I believe you don’t have to reach your peak before you’re allowed to show up. Growth is valid. Becoming counts. Sometimes, almost ready is ready enough.
I’m a Minnesota-based multidisciplinary designer, entrepreneur, dental professional, content creator, and singer-songwriter releasing music as ALEONA. My Vietnamese and Russian heritage, creative work, career in dentistry, athletics, music, design, and collaborations with brands have all shaped the way I create: with equal parts imagination, intention, discipline, and curiosity.
Almost Ready Ally is where those pieces come together.
What began through fashion, design, and creating for myself grew into a lifestyle space for the things that inspire real life — style, faith, food, travel, creativity, and the beautifully unfinished process of becoming.
It’s for women who are still rising, evolving, building, figuring things out, and showing up somewhere between not yet and here I am.
Not performative.
Not perfectly polished.
Not waiting for perfection.
Just ready enough.
